The election to the Bundestag on 24 September, will involve about 650 thousand volunteers. About it told the Federal election Commission Germany in Wiesbaden today, reports Deutsche Welle.
The representative of the Commission could not confirm that all allocated jobs are already filled. For the last time of the communes there were some reports about the lack of volunteers.
As noted by the representative, in that case, if the volunteer at the last minute refuses to go to work, then replacing it can be found already in day of voting.
In the elections on 24 September, will create about 73, 5 thousand plots with the voting booths and about 14 and a half thousand for the processing of ballots sent by mail.
At each of these sites will work the electoral Commission consisting of a Chairman, his Deputy and three to seven assessors.
The election Commission on polling to monitor the proper course of voting. “After 18:00 they will proceed to count the ballots and report the results Comunal”, – said the representative of the Federal election Commission.
Almost every third voter in Germany is going to vote in parliamentary elections using a vote by mail.
