On the occasion of state flag Day and Independence Day, everyone will be able to get to the Verkhovna Rada on a sightseeing tour on Tuesday and Wednesday, 23 and 24 August.
As the press service of the Parliament, during the 30-minute tour you will see national relic, the flag of independence, which the deputies of the first convocation has made in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada on 24 August 1991, to attend the session hall balcony and from the top to inspect the jobs of deputies and to get acquainted with a collection of artifacts directly associated with the acquisition of Ukraine’s independence.
Tours will be in groups every half hour: on 23 August from 13:00 to 18:00 on 24 August from 12:00 to 18:00.
In order to get a tour, you must pre-register and choose visiting on the Council website.
Registration ends August 23 at 9:00 on August 23, on tour August 24 – at 9:00 on August 24.
The Parliament building will be accessible with a passport of citizen of Ukraine or passport for young people up to 16 years – birth certificate. Without documents to the Parliament will not pass. Also on the tour can’t come with suitcases and other bulky items.
August 24 at 10:00 in the center of Kiev held a military parade on the occasion of Independence Day. Along with Hiking in the calculation of Khreshchatyk will take more than 200 units of military equipment. On parade military will be in a new form.
