EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Tombinski during the meeting with journalists noted insufficient attention of the Ukrainian authorities to the issue of confidence, which, according to him, impact on international relations. It is reported by the European truth.
“Ukraine needs to pay more attention to the issue of credibility. Trust is more important than money. This is very important in international relations. If you are unable to do something better don’t promise”, – said the Ambassador.
As writes the edition, Tombinski said this, commenting on the fulfillment of Ukraine’s obligations under the visa-free dialogue, but also noted that it also concerns a wider range of issues.”
“Loss of confidence and belief in yourself affects all aspects of international relations. We (EU officials) are all human and therefore we give preference to those who believe, and those who are able to deliver”, he added.
Tombinski also said that before the launch of electronic Declaration system of the National Agency for countering corruption in Ukraine has not completed the requirements of the EU for the abolition of visas.
