The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau has called the attack on a mosque in Quebec a terrorist act. This is stated in its statement the official website of the Prime Minister of Canada.
The head of the government of Canada on behalf of all the people expressed deep condolences to the families of all those killed and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
“Muslim Canadians are an important part of our national fabric and this senseless act has no place in our communities, cities and country. Canadian militiamen will protect the rights of all Canadians and will make every effort to apprehend the perpetrators of this act and all acts of intolerance,” said Trudeau.

The canadian edition of CBS reports that the death toll in the attack on January 29 increased to six, eight people were injured. Police arrested two suspects.
