The President of the United States Donald trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Hamburg discussed the Minsk agreement. This is stated in the message of the White house.

Trump and Merkel met on the eve of the G20 summit.

On the agenda of a meeting there was also the problem of de-escalation of the conflict between Qatar and Gulf countries and the issue of nuclear weapons on the Korean Peninsula.

Merkel said that it will not act as a mediator of the upcoming meeting trump and the Russian President Putin, which will take place in Hamburg on the sidelines of the summit on Friday, July 7.
