U.S. President Donald Trump will be recommended to Finance and to sell anti-tank missiles to Ukraine – a move aimed at deterring aggression by Pro-Russian militants. This was stated in an interview with ABC News, state Department spokesman.

The national security Council, the United States decided during a meeting on Tuesday to give the green light to grant $47 million to Ukraine to purchase us military weapons, including powerful anti-tank missiles Javelin. The US President and Congress must approve the sale of anti-tank missiles.

The Secretary of state Rex Tillerson and Minister of defence General James Mattis in June to discuss how best to sell Ukraine weapons. They strongly recommended the adoption of the decision on the financing and sale of anti-tank missiles to Ukraine.

The state Department official added that in the coming weeks there will be a meeting to discuss the sale. At the same time, White house spokesman warned that publicly announce his decision in Washington is not yet ready.
