It is noted that “military U.S. support for Ukrainian troops fighting against Russian troops in the border region”, may include the Javelin system, which according to the TV channel, “is likely to provoke a strong reaction from Russia, which could threaten to disrupt the President calls for trump to improve relations with Moscow.”
The report said that the total cost of the defence package will be $ 47 million. It will include 210 anti-tank missiles and 35 launchers.
If the President formally approves the plan it will be submitted to Congress within the 30-day period where it will be required to approve before the State Department can implement it.
“At the moment we have nothing to announce,” said the press Secretary of the national security Council Marc Raimondi. The state Department has not yet responded to the request channel for comments.
