Turkey will not be allowed into their ports, aircraft arriving from the temporarily occupied Russian Crimea. This decision Ankara adopted after the visit of Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko to Turkey in September 2017, said in his Facebook press Secretary of the head GPU Larissa garfish.
According to her, 6 October 2017, the leadership of the Turkish chamber of shipping chamber of Commerce sent to all subjects of Maritime transport and port business circular letter about the necessity “to take measures with consideration of external policy of our country (Turkey – ed.) that is associated with the restrictions imposed on visits by ships in the ports of the Crimea.”
“Turkish ports, Maritime agents, shipowners and operators officially reported that “vessels coming from the Crimea region and its port are not allowed in our country (Turkey), and permission to sail from the ports of this region is not available,” said Gar.
In addition, Ankara introduces a rigid system of control that is provided “by request from the courts of documents on departure from the last port, and records in-flight magazine about the departure from the last port”.

The manual of every Turkish port must obtain from the crew written confirmation that the last point of departure of the boats is not a Crimean port, it is not sent from this port in the Crimea, no actions committed on duty, port and sales documents that bear a stamp “Crimea”.
“The introduction of such a procedure – a consequence of the common practice, when the offending ships recently massively indicative of Turkish Maritime and port authorities with false information about the ports of destination. Especially it is noted that “these actions are applied fully and without exception, in spite of the owner, flags, and ships being loaded or not” – said the Gar.
