Turkey has announced its intention to open an Embassy in East Jerusalem, according to the decision of the organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC) recognizing him as the capital of Palestine. This was stated by President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, 17 December, at a meeting of the ruling party Justice and development in the province of Karaman, reports Hurriyet Daily News.

“We have already declared East Jerusalem the capital of a Palestinian state, but we are unable to open our Embassy there, because Jerusalem is currently under occupation. God, we will open our Embassy here,” he said.

Erdogan also by mentioning the decision trump about moving the us Embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing it as the capital of Israel.

“Don’t try to hold Zionist operation. If you do, it will have to pay,” said the Turkish President.
