In Iran as a result of two earthquakes in different parts of the country, one person was killed and at least 56 were injured. It is reported Radio Liberty with reference to the Iranian media.

Earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred in the Alborz district, 50 km from Tehran. Another earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in the village Hodges in Kerman province, 700 km from Tehran.

The devastation in these areas is not reported.
