Two universities opposed the law on decommunization: Eastern European University of Lesya Ukrainian and Donetsk University. V. Stus. The conclusions were read at the meeting of the chamber of the constitutional court, reports channel 5.

The court began to consider a petition of 46 people’s deputies Oppozicionnogo bloc and other factions. They are requested to check the law on decommunization was constitutional.

The constitutional court has asked for experts review the assessment to the President, the speaker of Parliament, the Institute of national memory, Institute of state and law, civil organizations and eight national universities.

Odessa law Academy has declared unconstitutional certain provisions of the law.

In Donetsk University believe that the law is vague, too broad, and it does not meet the principle of legal certainty.

Eastern European scientists of the University have concluded that most of the provisions of this law contradict international legal norms and the Constitution.
