Ukraine does not guarantee the protection of investments in the Crimea and the occupied areas of Donbass to regain control over them. Today, October 4, the Parliament supplemented the agreement with Croatia on the protection of investments. For the ratification of the additional Protocol (the bill N0149) voted 238 deputies.
According to Nefiodow, upon ratification is requested to make a statement that the agreement does not apply in the occupied territories. The purpose of the statement is to inform potential investors from Croatia and to avoid possible investment claims associated with investing in these areas.
