Ukraine entered the top-10 largest suppliers of agricultural products in the European Union, making our country the guarantor of food security of the EU. This was stated by Deputy Minister of economic development and trade Natalia Mykolska, UNIAN reports.
“An important element is that Ukraine is now a guarantor of food security of the European Union. This means that we are in the top 10 suppliers of agri-food group in the EU”, – said the Deputy Minister.
Earlier it was reported that during eight months of 2017, the export of Ukrainian agricultural productively was 24.5% and amounted to almost $11.5 billion While exports to the European market increased by 37.3%, or $988 million, and amounted to $3.6 billion.
