The Cabinet of Ministers extended the validity of the personal sanctions in response to Russia’s aggression in Ukraine and has expanded the list of persons subject to sanctions. This was at the briefing said the first Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv, the correspondent LIGA.net.

“We have extended the validity of existing personal sanctions against 388 individuals and 105 legal entities,” – said Kubiv.

“The second (instruction – ed.) to expand the list of individuals and legal entities, which proposed to apply sanctions to 259 46 physical and legal entities “, – he added.

In early July, the aggressor has limited the transit of Ukrainian goods through its territory in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries. Kubiv said at the same time that Ukraine will introduce sanctions mirrored.

1 July, the EU Council extended the economic sanctions against Russia until 31 January 2017.

The US imposed sanctions against five Russian companies that were suspected of violating the law on the non-proliferation of technologies for weapons of mass destruction.
