Over three quarters of 2017, gas transit via the Ukrainian gas transmission system amounted to 70.4 billion cubic meters, which is 23.5% higher than the transit volume for the first nine months of 2016, This indicator reached a maximum value over the past nine years, according to Ukrtransgaz in Facebook.

In January-September, 2017 in the Ukrainian storage pumped 8.5 billion cubic meters of gas, which is 44% higher than last year. For today Ukraine has to 16.4 billion cubic meters of gas in underground storage facilities.

Also for the first three quarters 2017 Ukraine imported from the EU 10.7 billion cubic meters of gas, a 70% increase over the same period last year. Gas from Russia is imported.

The flow of gas from gas producing enterprises of Ukraine increased by 2.6% and amounted to 15.5 billion cubic meters.

For the first three quarters of 2017, gas consumption decreased by 0.5% compared to the same period in 2016.

Earlier it was reported that the heating season this year may start earlier than planned.
