Ukraine imposed anti-dumping duty in the amount of 15,2% for a period of five years on valve and rental of Russia. The decision adopted by the Interdepartmental Commission on international trade, it is published in the newspaper Uriadovy courier, December 29.

The decision shall enter into force 60 days after publication of the decision.

The Commission’s decision is justified by the fact that import prices were significantly lower than the prices of Ukrainian producers, which caused them significant harm.

Anti-dumping investigation against imports of rebar and rolled products from Russia began in February, 2017 at the request of Arcelor Mittal Kryvyi Rih.

Earlier it was reported that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the decision on the extension until 31 December 2018 of the embargo on the import of certain goods from Russia and import duties in respect of other Russian goods entered at the beginning of 2016 in response to the appropriate trading prohibitions and restrictions of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
