Ukraine submitted to the UN Security Council its draft resolution on the deployment of the Donbas peacekeeping mission of the organization, said the Deputy head of the presidential Administration Konstantin Eliseev, the TV channel inter.

“Updated draft resolution a few days ago was transferred to partners in the Security Council. Of course, we are ready to work further”, – said Elisha.

He noted the importance of the upcoming participation of President Petro Poroshenko in meetings of the UN General Assembly and the UN security Council.

Deputy head of the AP also reported that the immediate deployment of a peacekeeping mission is only possible after six months after the decision.

“The reality today is that it takes not weeks and months, this agreement of mandate and direct the deployment of peacekeepers. Usually, it takes at least six months from the time of the decision to the full deployment of a peacekeeping operation,” he said.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko said Poroshenko at the meetings of the General Assembly and the UN security Council will raise the issue of introducing a peacekeeping mission in the Donbass.
