The initiative of Kiev on the UN peacekeeping mission for the temporarily occupied part of the Donbass will agree with the partners of Ukraine, and only then the Organization will give a written account of it. This was told first Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs Vadym Prystayko.

“We are talking with our partners how this initiative should be formulated, in contrast to Russia, which dropped actually “raw” document,” he said.

According to the diplomat, writing initiative of the Ukrainian peacekeepers in the Donbass will take place no earlier than is agreed “fit and suitable for adoption” the text.

Terms Pristayko is not called.

5 September 2017, the Russian Federation has sent to the UN a draft resolution on the peacekeepers on the contact line in the Donbass. The President of the aggressor state of Russia Vladimir Putin noted that it “would benefit the resolution of the conflict”, but then said that in his understanding we are talking about “people who ensure the safety of the OSCE mission,” and which “must be on the boundary line and no other areas.”

Ukraine has opposed the participation of Russia in the mission, if the decision to conduct such an operation, the UN will still be accepted. On 20 September, President Petro Poroshenko will speak at the General Assembly in new York, where he will raise the issue of introducing a peacekeeping mission to the whole of the temporarily occupied part of the Donbass.
