President Petro Poroshenko instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to provide Moldova with humanitarian aid to eliminate the consequences of the recent snowfall that covered Ukraine’s neighbouring country. This is stated in the presidential decree No. 118/2017 from April 28.
According to the document, assistance will be provided “to assist in overcoming the consequences of the crisis situation in the Republic of Moldova from-for a powerful snowfall”. The nature of humanitarian assistance in the decree of not talking.
Earlier, on April 26, the Cabinet approved the provision of humanitarian aid to Moldova in the amount of 10 million UAH. Then the first Vice Prime Minister – Minister of economic development and trade Stepan Kubiv said that the money will be allocated from the budget reserve Fund and is aimed at the elimination of consequences of bad weather in the neighboring country.

Last week the snow has covered a number of southern, Eastern and Central regions of Ukraine. Also snow fell in Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Serbia and Poland.
