The Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin stated that Ukraine has no doubt that she will have access to modern defensive weapons of the United States. He said this during a visit to Canada, according to UKRINFORM.
“I am convinced that in the future we’ll get more defensive weapons and military equipment. Can’t say the exact date, but we’re working on it”, – said Klimkin, answering the question about possible deliveries of weapons from the United States.
According to him, it’s not just about anti-tank weapons, but also about the drones, counter-battery systems and cyber warfare.
“We need all this equipment, logistic support and training. Moreover, it is mutually beneficial: we share our experience of dealing with the Russians. We are not talking about a single element of the puzzle – not only about Javelin ( powerful anti-tank missiles – ed.) and about all”, – said the Minister.

The foreign Minister added that Ukraine “needs international support, and just get it.”
In October, the chief of the General staff Victor Muzhenko said that the preparation of procedural issues regarding deliveries to Ukraine of lethal weapons from the United States carried out, it remains only for the political decision of the President of the United States Donald trump.
