Permanent representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko met with the first Deputy Secretary General of the world organization, Jan Eliasson. It is reported by the permanent mission of Ukraine to the UN in Twitter.
At the meeting, the Ambassador discussed with the permanent under Secretary’s trip to the Crimea, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the concentration of Russian troops in the Donbass.
“Vladimir Yelchenko met with the first Deputy UN Secretary General Jan Eliasson. Discussed the illegal stay of Vladimir Putin in the Crimea. Yelchenko also attracted the attention of Jan Eliasson of concentration of Russian forces along the Russian-Ukrainian border in the Crimea and the Donbass”, – stated in the message.
