“During this period, Ukraine exported mainly the following product groups: sunflower oil, safflower or cotton – 26,25% of the AgroExport, corn – 20,34% wheat and mixture of wheat is 12.87%, poultry meat – 2,29% and other”, – said Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food Olga Trofimova.

According to her, the top 5 key buyers of Ukrainian agricultural products entered India (it exported $1.3 billion), Egypt ($986,1 million), Netherlands ($762,8 million), Spain ($731,6 million), China ($631,8 million).

“EU countries take the second place in the regional structure of our agricultural exports. Our exports to the European market increased by 37.3%, or $ 988 million during the reporting period, and amounted to $3.6 billion,” said by Trofimova.

She added that in the General structure of the foreign trade turnover of agricultural products the share of the European Union of 35.2%.
