Ukrainian prisoner Nikolai Karpyuk is now in Vladimir Central. This was reported by his lawyer Ilya Novikov.

“Nikolai Karpyuk in Vladimir Central in quarantine. He was the Consul. Feels good,” – said Novikov.

10 Jan-the attorney said that he did not know the whereabouts of a wrongfully convicted in Chechnya Ukrainian Karpyuk. It was taken away from Grozny on 5 December and instead take the straight road of 1.5 thousand km, he was taken a circuitous route twice as long.

Russian special services kidnapped Karpyuk in March 2014 in Chernihiv region, and Klyh was arrested in August of the same year in Orel (Russia). Both deny their guilt. The Ukrainians claim that they were unlawfully detained, and that they used torture. The human rights center “memorial” in Russia recognized Karpyuk and Cliche political prisoners.
