Prescription acting head of Ukravtodor slavomira Novak made in August 2017 the national Agency for prevention of corruption, due to the fact that the company in time is not approved the anticorruption program. This was reported by a member of the NACP, Alexander Skopich, quoted by the press service of the Agency.

The official noted that, in accordance with article 19 of the law on prevention of corruption, the adoption of anti-corruption programs is required, particularly in the Central bodies of Executive power. The period of approval of such programs is completed annually before March 1.

“As of July 3, 2017 anti-corruption program of individual organs, including Ukravtodor, on approval of the National Agency has not received”, – said Skopich.

In addition, the company ignored the request of the Agency and violated the requirements of article 12 of the law on prevention of corruption. In the end, the decision was made to conduct NACP unscheduled inspections in respect of this legal entity.

The results of the verification, the Agency issued an instruction to Novak with the requirement to adopt anti-corruption program of Ukravtodor for 2017 and pass it on to NACP for approval, to provide information and documents at the request of the office dated July 5, 2017.

Also requires NACP to conduct an internal investigation on the fact of violation by officials of Ukravtodor requirements of part 1 of article 19 of the aforementioned law and its results to bring the perpetrators to disciplinary responsibility.
