The state service of Geology and subsoil of Ukraine informed PJSC Ukrnafta on that September 1 will be suspended three special permits for subsoil use. About it reports a press-service of Ukrnafta.

This list includes Harkovskoe, Hlinsko-Rozbyshivske and Rudovska-airport field in Poltava region.

“The reason for the suspension of the permits was existing “historical” obligation to pay rent tax,” – said in the message.

At Ukrnafta declare that the suspension of hydrocarbon production will lead to irreversible consequences for Ukrnafta and the state, since at these fields the company produces annually about 30 thousand tons of oil, 502 million cubic meters of natural gas. And this, in turn, will lead to a shortfall of government’s current tax payments. If the parties fail to reach consensus on this issue, Ukrnafta will use their right to defend their interests in court, the company said.

“The suspension of the license will not help the state to achieve the desired goals and to expedite the return of tax debt. On the contrary, as a result, reduced cash flow of the company and to pay the debt becomes even harder. The only way out is the introduction of the procedure, pre-trial rehabilitation, which will allow us to pay off accumulated debts and save operations.
