The economic court of the Kharkiv region issued a decision that ordered, OOO tekhnotreyd to pay PJSC Ukrnafta 1,103 billion, which Tekhtreyd owed as payment for the oil bought at auction in 2015 This information is available in the Unified registry of court decisions.

As indicated in the court decision, August 19, 2015 PJSC Ukrainian interbank currency exchange held an auction for the sale of owned by PJSC Ukrnafta’s oil in the amount of 127.9 thousand tons All of it was purchased by OOO Tekhtreyd group with a starting price of 7.7 thousand UAH/t.

However, the company paid only 5% of the guarantee fee (59,15 million UAH), and later only partially paid for the oil in the amount of 20.84 million UAH on one of the supply contracts. Term of payment for the whole amount, expired on 4 January 2016

On this basis, the court decided to recover the lost funds at the expense of PJSC Ukrnafta.

Recall, 50%+1 share of Ukrnafta belongs to the state represented by Naftogaz of Ukraine, according to 13.6% of companies Littop Enterprises Limited and Bridgemont Ventures Limited, and 12.9% – Bordo Management Limited. Of 9.9% of company’s shares belong to other shareholders. The interests of minority shareholders is Igor Kolomoisky.

According to media reports, the company Tekhtreyd also affiliated with Kolomoisky – however, minority shareholders of Ukrnafta deny this information.
