Ukrtelecom switches capital subscribers to a modernized network. The company installed distribution cabinets instead of the legacy ATS on troyeschina and Kharkov array.
As the press service of the company, the average speed of Internet access on existing ADSL lines grew on average one and a half times from 13 to 21 Mbps.
The company was reminded that the modernization of the network in Kiev, held under the program of technical modernization of Ukrtelecom. For 2.5 years it is planned to upgrade the company’s network in the six largest cities of Ukraine: Kiev, Kharkov, Dnepr, Odessa, Zaporizhia and Lviv. Total investment in upgrades to 2018 will reach $250 million.
Since 2013 the majority shareholder of PJSC Ukrtelecom is Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM group.
