Between Ukraine and Hungary because of the “language issue” a difficult dialogue, not a diplomatic conflict. This opinion during a visit to Ivano-Frankivsk region was expressed by the Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin, writes local edition of the Galka.

“We will discuss this with the communities – the Hungarian and Romanian. I was just in the school where the Polish language, and I heard that everybody says well as Ukrainian, Polish and English. This is the feeling of Europe,” he explained.

The foreign Minister said – Kiev does not accept ultimatums, “and no statements, too.”

“I am confident that the Venice Commission, which was sent for review, the law confirms the importance of knowledge of the Ukrainian language”, – said Klimkin.

Speaking about the problems with discussions of the history of Polish officials, he noted that “the common past should not be politicized”.

“Respect for every Ukrainian, who fought for Ukraine’s independence is important. Without this there can be no conversation, including with Poland. Hanging monument in Poland, this attitude is not to the UPA and to all the people who fought. Emotions need to withdraw and translate the dialogue at the state level,” the Minister said.
