The office of the UN high Commissioner for human rights (OHCHR) called on Ukrainian law enforcement officers to investigate the activities of the Peacemaker website and take action to remove from there is available on the public personal data. This is stated in the report on the situation of human rights in Ukraine for the period 16 may-15 August 2017.

“July 7 Natspolitsiya opened criminal proceedings against the website of the Peacemaker, which since August 2014 has published personal information of thousands of people, including media professionals and NGO activists, calling them supporters of armed groups and terrorism. OHCHR welcomes this move and urges the authorities to conduct an effective investigation and to take measures to delete personal data from the site,” the report says.

In July 2017 Natspolitsiya started criminal proceedings on the fact of publication on the website of the Peacemaker of the lists of journalists who allegedly accredited in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass.
