The United States accused three Chinese nationals in cyber attacks on computer systems of the German company Siemens and us companies Moody’s Analytics and Trimble announced yesterday the U.S. Department of justice.
As DW says, all three are residents of the PRC and work at the firm from Gunjou Boyusec providing services in the field of Internet security.
The alleged hackers suspected of stealing information constituting a trade secret and theft of personal data of employees of the three aforementioned companies.
Cyber attacks have occurred in the period from 2011 to may this year, reported the Ministry of justice of the United States.
In 2015, attackers managed to steal almost 407 gigabytes of data from Siemens systems, representing a commercial secret.
For hacking, attackers used a phishing method, in which selected employees of companies sent letters with the virus program.
