The US authorities hope that the crisis over nuclear and missile programs of North Korea can still be solved by diplomatic means. This was stated on Monday, the U.S. Secretary Rex Tillerson during a briefing at the White house, UKRINFORM reports.
“We still hope for diplomacy,” he said.
Tillerson also commented on the introduction of the DPRK on the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism, stressing that the regime of Kim Jong UN “out of control” and “he doesn’t care about the value of human life”.
“This is all part of what we continue the pressure,” he said. He said it is within the scope of “peaceful pressure”.
According to him, the introduction of the DPRK in the “black list” will contribute to the international isolation of the regime.
“The practical effect may be limited, but we hope to close all loopholes in this (sanctions against the DPRK – ed.)”, – concluded the Secretary of state.
Yesterday, November 20, South Korean intelligence tracking the progress of the rocket-nuclear programme of the totalitarian regime of Kim Jong-UN said that before the end of the year, North Korea will complete the development of equipment that will allow Intercontinental ballistic missiles of North Korea to reach the continental United States.
