Uzhgorod district court dismissed Stephen’s DAC to the post of first Deputy mayor of Uzhgorod. With reference to the corresponding decision of the judge Oleg Pridetsya writes about this regional website

The court granted the petition of the investigation, which stated that the DAC can supposedly prevent the establishment of the truth, if you stay on the job.

The official was suspended from office for two months – until March 30, inclusive. Within five days he or she may appeal the decision.

According to Pridacha, the court will address in the Prosecutor General’s office stating that on 30 January, the staff of the Transcarpathian Prosecutor’s office disrupted the work of the court, not appearing in the meeting.

25 January 2017 Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko said first Deputy mayor of Uzhgorod Stephen DAC allegedly accused of extorting 40 thousand hryvnias from the businessman for resolution of land privatization. The DAC is not contacted with the investigation, so law enforcement officers began checking information about a possible flight abroad, but on January 27 he independently came to the regional Prosecutor’s office.
