Starting in 2018, the state in the framework of implementation of healthcare reform will pay for specific medical services provided to patients at different levels of care. This was at the briefing said the acting Minister of health Suprun, reports UKRINFORM.
“In 2018 in primary care, when every family to choose the doctor, all services are provided free of charge, all these services free of charge. In 2019 pass to free specialist services in outpatient clinics, in 2020 through the state insurance for which citizens have paid through taxes, will pay for medical services in hospitals”, – said the head of Ministry of health.
According to Suprun, in 2018 the state will pay under the new scheme the basic package of services of family doctors, pediatricians, therapists. Already approved the new list of services of primary health care (consultations, referrals, references, preventive examinations, the main analyses) and new equipment requirements for the practice of primary care.

The acting Minister also said that the Cabinet approved the 19 regulations on the implementation of the various stages of the medical reform, including a provision for the establishment of Dazzleby health, through which you will be paid for medical services. In early January, 2018 will be a competition for the position of head of service, and by July it will be created and begin work.
In addition, approved the methods of calculation of the cost of medical services and amendments to the provision on referral for treatment abroad. Among other things, the possibility of payment by charities, local budget, other not prohibited by the legislation sources.
Due to the approved changes in a patient in need of urgent medical treatment, will be able to travel to the clinic from the moment when the Commission put it on the record.
19 October 2017, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill No. 6327, required for a medical reform. On 17 November speaker of Parliament Andriy Parubiy has signed a document; he is currently awaiting the President’s signature.
7 Dec 2017 Rada adopted amendments to the Budget code providing for including funds for madrepora.
