The judge of Shevchenkovsky regional court of Kiev Oleg Linnik considers it justified the verdict of the jury Krysino, who was given a suspended sentence and released in the courtroom at the murder of journalist Vyacheslav Veremiya. He claims that he acted within the scope of the charges and could not for them to come out, said resource Hromadske.

This explanation Linnik announced today, December 28, at a meeting with concerned citizens, who intend to seek a retrial.

“That Krysin gathered the people in charge are not specified. I cannot go beyond the charges. This is it (Krysin, – ed.) in his testimony said that he arranged and collected people. But in the indictment it is not. Also, there is no article about premeditated murder or attempted premeditated murder. The charge was only of hooliganism and light bodily,” the judge said.

Given the above Linnik considers probation to the person involved in resonant business adequate to the charges.

“Yes, in my opinion, this decision is absolutely fair,” he concluded.

22 December 2017, the Shevchenkovsky regional court of Kiev recognized the head of “titushky” during the Maidan Yuri Rat guilty of hooliganism and infliction of minor injuries to the journalist of the newspaper “Vesti” Vyacheslav Veremiy during the events of the Maidan, and sentenced him to four years probation. Rat, one of the defendants in the murder Veremiya, was released in the courtroom, given the “extenuating circumstances” – the presence of his two young children and alleged remorse.

The Prosecutor General’s office intends to appeal the court’s decision, as he considers it unfair. Krysin was accused of hooliganism under aggravating circumstances (part 4 of article 296 of the criminal code).

26 December with the participation of judges Linnika changed the measure of restraint to two more accused in the attempted murders of Maidan activists from detention to house arrest.
