Airline Yanair has applied to the Ministry of transport for permission to open regular flights to Krakow from two Ukrainian airports Kiev Zhulyany, Lviv and Odessa. Treatment carrier will consider on Friday, January 26, according to CTS.

Application Yanair provides regular flights to Krakow from Kiev and Odessa with a frequency of 4 times a week in each direction. If the airline is approved, the flights in these areas it can begin in late March.

Yanair now operates mainly Charter flights. In the route network of the carrier have a few regular destinations in Georgia and Israel: Kiev – Tbilisi – Kiev, Odessa – Tbilisi – Odessa, Kiev – Batumi – Kiev and Kiev – tel Aviv – Kiev. Flights to tel Aviv suspended for the period from January 7 to March 11.

At this point in Krakow from Kiev only flies the airline. 26 Dec 2017 first flight took place in this area. Initially the flights were carried out six times a week, and from 8 Jan steel daily.

Airport Krakow is the second in Poland in terms of passenger traffic. In 2017, air port handled over 5.8 million passengers.
